WILMINGTON, September 18 — Chase is giving away 10 million Chase Ultimate Rewards points to mark the tenth anniversary of its Chase Sapphire Reserve credit card, the company announced in a post published September 16. The headline number is 10 million points spread across 10 finalists. More than 5 million of those points go to a single cardmember, who will use them to plan a dream trip with a Reserve Travel Designer.
The promotion is the centerpiece of a broader anniversary campaign that Chase frames as a thank-you to cardmembers who have used the card for travel and dining over the past decade. The contest carries the formal name “Celebrating 10 Rewarding Years with Chase Sapphire Reserve Contest.”
The entry window and who qualifies
The contest opened September 16 at 9:00:00 a.m. Eastern Time and closes November 6 at 5:00:00 p.m. ET. Entry is limited to one per person. Eligibility is narrow.
An entrant must be a legal resident of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia, hold a valid Tax Identification Number or Social Security Number, and be eighteen or older at the time of entry. They also need an Instagram or TikTok account, and must have been a Chase Sapphire Reserve primary cardholder in good standing as of September 15, 2026.
The contest is void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited or restricted by law. The total maximum retail value of all prizes is $130,000.00. Chase states that no purchase, payment, obligation or financial disclosure is necessary to enter or claim a prize, and that a purchase or payment will not increase the chances of winning.
Official rules are posted at chase.com/SapphireReserveContest. The sponsor is JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., 201 N.
Walnut Street, Wilmington, DE 19801.
What else is in the package
Alongside the contest, Chase is expanding a DoorDash benefit. The company says the enhanced DoorDash benefit comes on top of dining benefits cardmembers already receive, including 3x points on dining and up to $300 in annual statement credits with Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables. Terms apply, and Chase notes the offers may not be available to all cardmembers.
The anniversary offers also reference travel uses such as flying on semiprivate flights, staying in exceptional destinations and elevated car rentals. The announcement post carries a publication date of 2026-09-16 and is attributed to J.P.
Morgan Chase as publisher. It was written by Kenzie Bryant. For cardmembers weighing an entry, the clock is the figure that matters.
The window runs roughly seven weeks from the September 16 open, and the eligibility cutoff for primary cardholder status is already in the past.
